EMD's Signature Floor Warm up
Developed by Elisa Monte and Tiffany Rea-Fisher, an informative fusion of Pilates, Yoga and Core Stabilization which greatly informs the company's repertoire. 10:00am to 11:30am
A strong emphasis on the classical style and how it relates to contemporary movement. Alignment, musicality, building a strong technical foundation.
11:30am to 1:00pm
A fresh yet stylized modern based movement class. Incorporating fundamental EMD stylized movement. Emphasis on the upper body, torso and core.
1:00pm to 2:00pm
Lunch is provided to all students
2:00pm to 3:00pm
West African- grounded physical movement emphasis on musicality and finding a deeper/lower center.
Improvisation- explore your bodies range of motion and spark your creativity.
Stamina/Cardio- a cardio based work out class essential to surviving the cardiovascular demands of performing.
Leaps and Turns- a fun across the floor class, emphasizing big full traveling movements.
